Darth Vader Cookies: Fifth Post - Completed

I finished Saturday night.  I actually got it done in less than a week.  I can't believe I actually guessed correctly how long it would take.  Well, without further ado here it is.
I'll get it framed and take one last picture of it, a better picture, this one looks a little dark.  In the meantime, it's on my Completed - Cross Stitch page.  The picture will be updated with the framed version, but I'll post it framed as well.

Darth Vader Cookies: Fourth Post

Border is done!  Almost there.  Sometimes it's fun doing an easy and small project.
I can see the end so I'm not going to write anymore and get some sleep so I can try finish it up tomorrow.  I will finish tomorrow, unless I get distracted by something.

Darth Vader Cookies: Second Post

I finally finished all the black, now you can see the "cuteness" I was referring to in the last post.
There will probably be another update soon, probably tomorrow, as I add the "color" to the picture.

Darth Vader Cookies: First Post

I did a bad thing.  I was playing around online, linking to other people's blogs from other people's blogs who are all stitchers, and I found this pattern and fell in love with how cute it was.  And, best of all, it was free!  I wish the author could make some money off of it, but I know there's copyright laws and fun stuff like that, I'm just glad it was shared.  I downloaded it immediately and I knew I had to have all the parts somewhere at my place.  I was bound and determined to find them and get down to work.

I searched through my fabric cache and, while I was initially looking for a 16 or 32 count fabric, I, instead, found a 28 count, which I have absolutely no idea what it was purchased for.  Once I had that along with my favorite color, black, I got to work.

This is what I finished last night:

I've done just over 21% and I haven't even gotten to the cute part.  Just you wait.  Or don't wait and click on the "Pattern" link in my "Project Stats".  Since this is a quick and easy chart I'm going to finish it off, it really shouldn't take me longer than a week unless something comes up, especially with Memorial Day this weekend here in the States.

Friends Forever: Second Post

I haven't done much of anything recently.  I just haven't been in the mood.  I had originally wanted to at least post once a week, and I was doing so well.  Now I've decided once a month at least... but that doesn't mean I won't post more.  In the meantime, to reach my one a month post goal I decided to finally take a picture of where I'm at in Friends Forever:

So, what do ya think?  I think it's looking pretty good myself.  But all that black, it's driving me nuts, I did one row, or was it two, last night.  It doesn't really matter.

Right now my nights are mostly used up by Diablo III, a computer game that was released last week.  Don't click on the link if you have small children around. There's a large picture of Diablo, who is the main bad guy of the game and he can be kinda scary looking.  This game was 10 years in the making, so we've been waiting for a long time for this.  I may be artsy and crafty, but I love shooting up some bad guys every once in a while.  Actually, I think it's more like I like the ability to perform magic, even if it is only a game, remember, I'm a fantasy nut.

In the meantime, check out the status of my current projects on the WIPs (Work in Progress) page that I added.  Not very exciting right now since my blog is only a couple of months old, but I'm sure in time it will be much more interesting.  Okay, I'm sure it won't be, but I'm trying to make my blog sound better than it really is.  I don't think it's working.  Well... until next time!
